Premium strimmer guards are a robust tree guard, designed to deflect the cord of mechanical strimmers, protecting the tree from damage for a minimum of seven years.
Manufactured from LDPE, the strimmer guards are easy to install, fitting neatly around young trees.
Each strimmer guard is 20cm tall by 33.5cm wide when flat, creating a diameter of 95mm when formed into a cylinder.
The modular click-together design is easy to fit around any tree – simply add extra panels as the tree grows.
For trees up to 95mm diameter use one guard.
For trees from 95cmm to 150mm diameter use two guards.
For trees from 150mm to 225mm diameter use three guards.
The flanged base, which is 58mm, adds stability. Bedding this into the ground helps reduce weed growth.
