Tree ties should be used to secure feathered, standard and heavy standard trees to machine rounded stakes.
Supersoft tree ties are manufactured from soft plastic and act as a ‘figure of 8’, which eliminates the need for a spacer. These are available in 30cm, 40cm 50cm and 60cm lengths, with the 30cm tie having a width of 12.5mm, whilst all other sizes have a width of 22mm.
We recommend that you secure tree ties to machine rounded stakes with a felt nail towards the top of the stake to prevent the tie from sliding down.
