Gary Rogers - New Managing Director

Staff at British Hardwood Tree Nursery said 'thank you, goodbye and good luck' to former owners Andrew and Zoe Henderson who left the business on 31^st May. After taking over from his late father John Henderson in 1998, Andrew's vision and guidance helped build the highly respected, customer focused business that British Hardwood Tree Nursery is today.

With invaluable support from his wife Zoe, and a superb team around him, Andrew has been responsible for supplying millions of bare root plants and planting accessories to planting schemes throughout the UK. An amazing legacy as they both move on to pastures new following the acquisition of British Hardwood Tree Nursery by Origin Enterprises in June 2023. Andrew has now handed the reins over to Gary Rogers, new Managing Director, who joined the company in January 2024.

Gary, who has over 25 years of operational and business development experience in a range of sectors, commented, "I am absolutely delighted to be formally taking on the role of Managing Director, after five months working alongside Andrew. We have an exceptional team here at British Hardwood Tree Nursery and I very much look forward to meeting our customers and suppliers in the coming months, and to exciting times ahead as we head into our 35^th season."
